Hello Greg,

I disabled it in the device manager exactly as is written in the folio link. Withal, every fourth dimension there is a new hardware detection or a scan for hardware alter, it re installs and re enables itself. I don't touch it.

The screen isn't unresponsive, it is over responsive, meaning when the driver activates the computer thinks I am touching the screen continually in five dissimilar places when I take never even used the touch screen. Hence the willingness to only disable information technology.

All I find is that disabling driver in Device manager should piece of work. https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Video-Dis...

Merely I'd still cheque in UEFI firmware on all tabs to run across if there'south a touch screen setting to toggle. Restart the PC while pressing the ESC primal, then Enter Setup, check each tab for the setting, report dorsum.

I appear to take fixed information technology for now by disabling the commuter without uninstalling. Perhaps uninstalling causes it to trigger an automatic commuter install for establish hardware. Whereas leaving information technology disabled ways it knows its at that place.

If this problem happens over again, I'll get dorsum in bear upon.

Thanks
